UX DESIGN & CRO

Your traffic is already there. Most of it is leaving.

Turn the visitors you already have into revenue — with evidence-led UX and conversion optimization.

Almost every website has the same hidden problem: it works hard to attract visitors, then quietly loses most of them at the exact moments that matter. A confusing checkout. A page that doesn't answer the one question in the visitor's head. A form nobody finishes. The traffic is already paid for. The revenue is walking out the door.

This is the work I know better than anything else. For years I've led UX design and conversion optimization for major brands — the discipline of understanding why real people hesitate, leave, or don't buy, and then systematically fixing it. Not redesigns based on taste. Changes based on evidence, measured against real behaviour and real revenue.

If your website or online shop gets visitors but not enough of them convert, this is the service that turns the traffic you already have into results — often without spending another cent on getting more of it.

UX DESIGN

Genuinely easy to use.

Making a website genuinely easy and satisfying to use — so visitors find what they need, understand what to do, and don't give up. Good UX is mostly invisible; you notice it only by its absence, in the frustration that makes people leave.

CONVERSION OPTIMIZATION

Proven, not assumed.

The disciplined practice of increasing the share of visitors who take the action that matters — buy, book, sign up, enquire. It's not guesswork or a fresh coat of paint. It's research, hypotheses, and controlled testing.

A small lift in conversion applies to all your traffic, permanently. Going from two visitors in a hundred buying to three isn't a fifty-percent nudge — it's a fifty-percent increase in revenue from the exact same traffic.

WHAT WE DO

Evidence-led fixes, not taste-led redesigns.

Conversion rate optimization and A/B testing

We find where and why your site leaks conversions, form a clear hypothesis about what's causing it, and test the fix against real visitors so the result is proven, not assumed.

This is the heart of the practice — the same rigorous, evidence-led method that, in the right hands, has produced very large returns from surprisingly small changes. Done properly, it's one of the highest-return activities a business with existing traffic can invest in.

E-commerce optimization

Online shops live and die on the details of the buying journey — product pages, search, cart, checkout.

We optimise that entire path so more of the people who arrive intending to buy actually complete the purchase, and fewer abandon at the last, most expensive step. For a shop, even a modest improvement in checkout completion flows straight to the bottom line.

UX audits and reviews

A structured, expert examination of your site through the eyes of your users — where they get confused, hesitate, or drop off, and exactly what to do about it.

You come away with a clear, prioritised list of what's costing you conversions and what to fix first. Often the single most cost-effective place to start.

User research

Sometimes the answer isn't in the data — it's in watching real people use your site and hearing what they're actually thinking.

We run the research that tells you why your visitors behave the way they do, so the fixes address the real problem instead of the assumed one.

Redesign, grounded in evidence

When a site needs more than tuning, we redesign it around how people actually behave and what actually converts — not around taste or trends.

A redesign that ignores the evidence is just a new way to lose the same customers. Ours don't.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THIS

Senior expertise, measured in revenue.

This isn't a service we added because it sounds good. It's the core of what our lead has done professionally for years, at a level most studios can't offer — including leading UX and experimentation for Scotch & Soda, where a single well-designed A/B test generated roughly €600,000 in revenue.

It includes growing viaBOVAG into one of the Netherlands' top-four portals in its category, and years of senior UX leadership on large, complex products where getting the experience right wasn't a nicety — it was the business. You are getting that depth applied to your website or shop. Not a junior running a checklist. The real thing.

WHO THIS IS FOR

For sites with traffic and a conversion gap.

Online shops leaving money in the checkout

If you have traffic and sales but suspect you should be converting more — you almost certainly are right, and this is where the fastest returns usually are.

Businesses whose site "gets visitors but not customers"

The gap between traffic and results is almost always a UX and conversion problem, and it's a solvable one.

Anyone about to spend more on ads

Before you pay to pour more visitors into a leaky site, it's often far cheaper to fix the leak. We'll tell you honestly which you need.

HOW WE WORK

Find, hypothesise, test, compound.

Each proven improvement stacks on the last — and the returns build over time.

STEP 1

Find where you're losing people

Through data, expert review, and research, we locate the specific points where visitors hesitate, leave, or fail to convert — and why.

STEP 2

Form a real hypothesis

Not "let's make it blue." A clear, reasoned theory about what's costing you conversions and what should fix it.

STEP 3

Test it properly

Where traffic allows, we test changes against real visitors so you know what actually worked — and roll out what wins.

STEP 4

Compound the gains

Optimization isn't one fix; it's a habit. Each proven improvement stacks on the last, and the returns build over time.

WHY CUBEXIC

Evidence and rigour, not taste and trend.

Genuine, senior expertise in exactly this discipline — years of it, at brands whose results were measured in real revenue. A method grounded in evidence and testing, not taste or trend. A designer's eye and an analyst's rigour, which is a rarer combination than it should be.

And honest advice, including the honest version you won't always want to hear: that sometimes the highest-value fix is smaller and cheaper than the redesign you came in asking for.

FAQ

Common questions

What's the difference between UX design and CRO?+

UX design makes a site genuinely good to use; CRO is the disciplined practice of increasing the share of visitors who take the action you want, proven through testing. They overlap heavily — good UX usually lifts conversion — and we do both.

How much extra revenue can this actually produce?+

It varies, and anyone promising a specific number sight-unseen is guessing. But because improvements apply to all your existing traffic permanently, the returns are often far larger than the cost — a small lift in conversion can mean a large lift in revenue. We'll give you a grounded view once we've seen your site.

Do I need a lot of traffic for this to work?+

More traffic makes formal A/B testing faster and more certain. But even sites with modest traffic benefit enormously from expert UX review and research — we adapt the method to what you have.

Is this just a redesign?+

No — and that's the point. A redesign changes how a site looks; this changes how it performs, based on evidence. Sometimes the highest-return fix is a small, specific change, not a rebuild.

Can you improve my checkout specifically?+

Yes. The checkout and cart are where online shops lose the most ready-to-buy customers, and they're often where the fastest wins are.

How do we start?+

Usually with a UX audit or review — a structured expert look at where your site is losing people, and a prioritised plan for fixing it. It's the most cost-effective first step.
